Showcase Your Working Dog and Win with Mighty Mix

They’re loyal, tough, and the true heroes of the farm – now it’s their time to shine. Rural Guardian, in partnership with Mighty Mix Dog Food, is proud to launch the Mighty Mix Working Dog Photo Competition.

From September 1 to September 20, we’re calling on farmers and dog lovers across the country to share their best photos of their four-legged workmates. Whether it’s a striking portrait, a dog hard at work, or a breathtaking shot against a rural backdrop, we want to see it.

How to Enter

Email a high-resolution photo (2MB+ is perfect) to [email protected] with the subject line: “Mighty Mix Working Dog Photo Comp.”

Please include:

• Your full name, email  and phone number
• Your dog’s name and breed
• Your town/region
• The category you’re entering

Mighty Mix Working Dog Photo Competition – Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

• The competition is open to all New Zealand residents.
• Employees of Rural Guardian, Mighty Mix Dog Food, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

1. Entry Requirements

• Entries must be submitted by emailing a high-resolution photo (minimum 2MB) to [email protected]      before the closing date.
• Each entry must include the entrant’s full name, phone number, town/region, dog’s name and breed, and the chosen category.
• Entrants may submit more than one photo, but each entry must be submitted separately.

1. Competition Period

• Entries open on 1 September 2025 and close at 11.59pm on 20 September 2025.
• Late entries will not be accepted.

1. Judging and Prizes

• Winners will be chosen by a judging panel appointed by Rural Guardian, except for the People’s Choice award, which will be decided by public vote.
• The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

1. Publication and Promotion

• By entering, you agree that Rural Guardian may publish your photo (with credit) in print and online.
• Entrants must ensure they own the rights to their submitted photos and that no third-party rights are infringed.
• Winners consent to their name, region, and photo being used for publicity purposes by Rural Guardian and Mighty Mix Dog Food.

1. Delivery of Prizes

• Prizes will be delivered to winners by their local Mighty Mix franchisee.
• Rural Guardian and Mighty Mix take no responsibility for any loss or damage to prizes during delivery.

1. Liability

• Rural Guardian and Mighty Mix Dog Food are not responsible for any technical issues, lost entries, or inability to participate in the competition.
• By entering, participants agree to release Rural Guardian and Mighty Mix from any liability related to the competition or prizes.
