Ashburton’s Claire and Gerard Rushton will be heading back to Parliament later this month where they will put their case to the Parliamentary Health Select Committee for a potentially life-saving meningococcal vaccine to be free for all Year 11 students or 16-year-olds. Their daughter Courtenay died from meningitis in 2014 when she was just 16.
